Happy WFW my dear friends wherever you are I hope that God blesses you. My entry for today is about Matthew 5:3 - Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. This is a wonderful text that we always remember. This text can be explain in many ways. For me is like a person who is tortured for Christ meaning humble themselves and lots of humility. How about you what do you think?

When I think of poor in spirit I also think of humility. God wants us to realize that we have nothing/are nothing without Him. Thanks for stopping by my way.

This verse is a bit of a conundrum, isn't it? Jesus always liked to turn things on their heads. But it's true, when we are poor in spirit (hurting emotionally) we are much more attuned to the Spirit's comfort and presence.
